320 MHz Bandwidth

Wi-Fi 7 harnesses the power of a wider channel and increased capacity in the 6GHz spectrum, resulting in significant throughput gains. In contrast to WiFi 6E, which expanded channel width to 160 MHz in the 6 GHz band, WiFi 7 takes a leap forward by introducing ultrawide 320 MHz channels. This advancement effectively doubles the data transmission capacity.

4K-QAM

To further enhance peak rates, WiFi 7 adopts a higher-order modulation scheme: 4096-QAM. Each symbol can carry 12 bits instead of 10 bits, resulting in a theoretical transmission rate that is over 20% higher than that of WiFi 6's 1024-QAM.

Multi-Link Operation (MLO)

Before WiFi 7, WiFi devices transmit data using a single connection.
